Role Description This is a full-time, on-site 2-Wheeler Taxi Driver role based in Hyderabad. The 2-Wheeler Taxi Driver will safely transport passengers to their destinations using the Zippi platform, following traffic rules and company guidelines. Responsibilities include accepting ride requests through the app, navigating efficiently to pick-up and drop-off locations, and providing courteous and professional service to all passengers. The role also involves maintaining the two-wheeler in good working condition, ensuring cleanliness, reporting any operational issues, and following safety protocols. Drivers are expected to manage time effectively, handle cashless and cash payments as per company policy, and represent Zippi’s values of safety, reliability, and inclusivity.
Qualifications
- Valid two-wheeler driving license and strong knowledge of local traffic rules and regulations.
- Good familiarity with Hyderabad city routes and ability to use GPS or navigation applications effectively.
- Customer service skills, including polite communication, patience, and a professional attitude with passengers.
- Basic smartphone literacy to operate ride-hailing applications, manage trip details, and follow app-based instructions.
- Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform basic vehicle checks, and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Reliability in following assigned schedules, managing time, and handling cash or digital payments accurately.
- Willingness to follow safety and security protocols and adhere to Zippi’s policies on inclusivity and respectful conduct.
- Prior experience as a driver or in a transport-related role is an advantage but not mandatory.
