Summary
We are seeking a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our team in GB. Based in the construction supplies sector, this role is vital in ensuring timely delivery of our products to construction sites, supporting our mission to deliver excellence and build trust with our clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5 tonne vehicle to deliver construction supplies to various sites.
- Load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Right to Work in the UK
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
- Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Adequate experience of driving long distances for several hours and completing multiple, varied drops
- Navigational ability and good knowledge of Sat Nav / Map Reading
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- Preferred: Experience with flatbed trucks.
