The Loomex Group invites skilled candidates to apply for the Airport Operations Specialist position at Dryden Regional Airport (YHD). This full-time role focuses on maintaining airport safety and operational compliance.
In this safety-critical role, you’ll conduct inspections, operate heavy equipment, and handle ground activities, ensuring compliance with CARs and TP 312 standards. Working in all weather conditions, you will be responsible for snow removal, aircraft fuelling, and supporting emergency responses. Your contribution is crucial for upholding operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect runways, taxiways, and aprons daily
- Operate loaders, snow blowers, and other maintenance equipment
- Perform snow removal and wildlife management tasks
- Conduct aircraft fuelling and below-wing support actions
- Assist with airport security and compliance protocols
Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s licence
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and endure extreme temperatures
- Clean criminal record and driver abstract
- Solid teamwork and communication skills
