Swish is a 10-minute food delivery platform that prepares fresh food in its own kitchens and delivers it through its own fleet. We are expanding rapidly across Indian cities and are looking to build a strong growth team from the ground up.

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Warehousing & Logistics to manage end-to-end warehouse operations and logistics for our cloud kitchen business. The role involves handling inventory, dispatch, cold chain operations, and 3PL coordination to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Manage daily warehouse operations including GRN, storage, and dispatch
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and proper stock control (FIFO/FEFO)
  • Handle chilled, frozen, and ambient storage as per food safety standards
  • Monitor space utilization and warehouse efficiency
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations

Inventory Management

  • Ensure stock availability for production and dispatch
  • Track DOH / DOI and minimize expiry and wastage
  • Maintain accurate system vs. physical stock records
  • Monitor near-expiry and slow-moving inventory

Logistics & Dispatch

  • Plan and execute daily dispatch operations
  • Ensure on-time delivery to outlets / PODs
  • Manage route planning and vehicle utilization
  • Ensure cold chain compliance (chilled & frozen vehicles)
  • Monitor in-transit losses and POD closures

3PL & Vendor Management

  • Manage 3PL warehouse and logistics partners
  • Ensure SLA adherence and track performance
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely pickups and deliveries

Team Management

  • Lead warehouse staff, supervisors, and 3PL teams
  • Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management
  • Drive team productivity and accountability

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards (FSSAI, hygiene)
  • Maintain proper documentation (GRN, dispatch, temperature logs)
  • Coordinate with the QA team for quality checks

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations
  • Experience in cold chain management
  • Inventory control and reporting (DOH, DOI)
  • Vendor and 3PL management
  • Good leadership and team management skills

Experience & Qualification:

  • 8+ years of experience in warehousing and logistics
  • Mandatory experience in the food industry (QSR / Cloud Kitchen / Hotel)
  • Graduation in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations preferred
