Job Purpose (overall high level summary of the role)

  • Manage all trade settlements in Equity, Sukuk and Eruoclear are processed + SBL-OTC-FOB
  • Ensure all foreign exchange transactions are processed
  • Ensure all subscription to mutual funds are processed
  • Manage and ensure Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) creations/redemptions are processed.
  • Ensure all fund transfers (inward & outward remittances) are processed including Euroclear.
  • Ensure all Corporate Actions for Saudi as well as Euroclear are processed
  • Manage and ensure all reconciliations on cash and securities and also resolve breaks
  • Ensure all internal control related matters of Custody and Clearing are complete and done in alignment with regulatory and HSBC standards requirements.
  • Ensure all transactions and operational processors are executed accurately and on a timely manner
  • Monitor cash transactions.
  • Ensure billing and invoicing process is completed.
  • Confirmation of buying power to brokers and on Tadawul system.
  • Manage engagement with external brokers.

Customers / Stakeholders

  • Maintain a direct connection with Direct Custody & Clearing team to be able to facilitate requests by clients efficiently and ensure high quality of client service.
  • Provides inputs to the Vice President Service Delivery Securities Services on the client needs and operations effectiveness.
  • Assist and act as back up for VP Service Delivery.

Qualifications / Experience (For the role – not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in general management or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the banking sector within the region with a focus on Securities Services Operations is preferred.
