We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team.

Position Objectives:

The objective of the Assistant Warehouse Manager is to manage the space and turnover of the warehouse, organise and monitor the storage and distribution of goods, manage efficient stock preparation process and optimise the transport cost to ensure excellent customer service. The goal is to assist with operations,manage warehouse staff, liaise with operations team to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate inbound/outbound distribution
  • Process and prepare orders; pack and move deliveries
  • Generate daily stock in/out reports
  • Assist with loading/unloading, including forklift operation
  • Arrange logistics (quotes, deliveries, pickups, tracking)
  • Manage inventory transfers between warehouses and 3PLs
  • Conduct weekly stocktakes and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain inventory control and update system records
  • Identify and implement warehouse efficiency improvements
  • Address operational issues and complaints
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff; uphold safety standards
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Oversee general facility, IT, and equipment management
  • Manage company vehicle usage

Key Skill Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Diploma of Logistics (preferred) or min 3 years in similar role
  • Forklift licence (essential)
  • Strong verbal communication skills in Polish and English at a conversational proficiency level.
  • Proven working experience as a Logistics/Operations Manager
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Proficient in standard logistics software
  • Hands-on leadership with ability to react and troubleshoot/problem solve
  • Knowledge of the solar industry is advantageous
