About the role:

We are hiring Autonomous Vehicle Drivers to support the testing and operation of next-generation self-driving vehicles. In this role, you will monitor vehicle performance, ensure safety during autonomous operations, and provide critical feedback to engineering teams. The Autonomous Vehicle Driver will be responsible for safely operating and supporting autonomous vehicle data collection and mapping activities. The role requires a disciplined professional who can ensure compliance, maintain vehicle performance, and support operational objectives while delivering high-quality results aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicles for data collection, mapping, and testing activities

Ensure safe driving practices at all times in compliance with local traffic laws and company policies

Monitor vehicle systems, sensors, and onboard equipment during operations

Perform basic vehicle checks (cleaning sensors, checking tires, fuel/charge levels)

Accurately log daily activities, mileage, incidents, and operational reports

Follow assigned routes and support multi-location / long-distance driving requirements

Coordinate with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks

Report any technical issues, incidents, or deviations immediately

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to client and company compliance standards

Ensure compliance with Sweden road regulations

Work closely with operations, engineering, and safety teams

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience (commercial or specialized driving preferred)

Valid Class B or higher driving license.

Clean driving record

Experience in long-distance driving / field operations / logistics preferred

Basic understanding of vehicle technology and navigation systems (GPS, apps, dashboards)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with teams

Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts and weekends

Mandatory Compliance Requirements

Background Verification (BGV): Successful completion of a minimum 10-year background check, including employment, criminal, and identity verification

Motor Vehicle Record (MVR): Clean driving record with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving, license suspension)

Drug & Alcohol Testing: Compliance with pre-employment and periodic testing, in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

Client Compliance: Must meet all client-specific safety, operational, and compliance standards

Working Conditions
