We are currently seeking reliable and safety-conscious drivers to take part in an exciting autonomous vehicle testing project based in Luxembourg. This opportunity is ideal for experienced drivers who stay focused, remain calm in challenging situations, and are interested in working with innovative automotive technology.

As an Autonomous Vehicle Test Driver, you will play an important role in real-world vehicle testing by operating test cars safely, observing traffic conditions, and completing assigned routes in line with project procedures. Your work will directly contribute to the development of future mobility technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive autonomous test vehicles safely within designated testing zones across Luxembourg
  • Continuously assess traffic and road conditions while maintaining a high level of awareness
  • Detect potential risks and react appropriately to changing driving situations
  • Follow established safety protocols, operational guidelines, and data collection procedures
  • Use tablets and in-vehicle systems to complete reports and required documentation
  • Keep the operations team informed about route status, incidents, or any unexpected issues
  • Help ensure testing activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Requirements

  • Valid EU/EEA Category B driving licence accepted in Luxembourg and held for a minimum of 3 years
  • Clean driving history with no major traffic offences or responsible insurance claims within the last 3 years
  • Legal authorisation to work in Luxembourg
  • Ability to pass background screening, medical examination, and driving record verification
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong hazard awareness
  • Ability to stay attentive during extended driving shifts, including repetitive routes
  • Good command of English plus at least one of the following languages: French, German, or Luxembourgish
  • Comfortable working with tablets and digital in-vehicle technology
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to safe driving practices
  • Capable of working independently while cooperating effectively with the wider team
  • Flexible to work rotating schedules, including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Defensive driving certification or other advanced driving qualifications
  • Previous professional driving experience, such as taxi, chauffeur, VTC, driving instructor, or emergency services
  • Knowledge of three or more languages is considered an advantage
