Title: CDL A Driver Semi-Local
Company: Flint Logistics LLC
Location: Augusta, GA
Regional freight operations across the Southeast support a structured delivery network serving retail auto parts locations. This position is designed for experienced CDL-A truck drivers who prefer organized dispatch schedules, consistent weekly earnings, and routes that allow drivers to return home most nights.
Hiring Area: Augusta, GA 30906
Weekly Pay: $1,215 to $1,315
This fleet supports a steady delivery network covering established Southeast lanes. Professional drivers typically run approximately 1,700 to 1,800 miles each week while delivering auto parts to retail locations across multiple states. Drivers operating within this fleet generally complete 3 to 6 delivery stops per shift and average around 30 unloads each week.
Most deliveries occur during nighttime operating hours when store locations are closed. Freight is unloaded using liftgate trailers and electric pallet jacks, allowing Class A CDL drivers to complete store deliveries efficiently and safely.
Dispatch teams provide detailed delivery instructions including store keys, alarm codes, and route documentation so drivers can move through their delivery schedules with clear guidance. Consistent route planning helps experienced CDL-A truck drivers maintain reliable weekly mileage and predictable work schedules.
Home Time and Schedule
Drivers operating within this fleet typically return home most nights, with only one or two overnight trips required during the week depending on the assigned route. Dispatch scheduling may operate Sunday through Thursday, Monday through Friday, or Tuesday through Saturday based on freight demand and route assignments.
Weekend delivery days are often lighter, helping drivers maintain a balanced work schedule while supporting consistent freight movement.
Fleet Equipment
Drivers operate late-model Kenworth and Freightliner tractors, generally 2018 or newer. Trucks are governed for safety and efficiency. Depending on the route assignment, drivers may occasionally operate a box truck or sleeper unit when overnight trips are scheduled.
Liftgate trailers and electric pallet jacks are used for unloading freight at retail delivery locations.
Driver Benefits
- $500 sign-on bonus paid during the second week of employment
- Stop pay of $30 for each delivery stop
- Minimum weekly pay protection when the full schedule is completed
- Hourly compensation available after two hours during breakdown delays or when assisting with yard or office work
- Consistent freight lanes with established dispatch support
Driver Qualifications
