Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated CDL A Local Driver to join our team and deliver pallets, freight, and related materials within local routes. This role offers an energetic work environment where you will be responsible for safe, timely deliveries while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate a tractor-trailer equipped with van or flatbed trailers for local deliveries
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and hazardous materials (Hazmat) handling procedures
- Deliver goods to customers’ locations accurately while maintaining proper documentation of shipments
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with clean driving record
- Experienced in driving dry vans and flatbed trailers
- Ability to back into tight spaces
- Must have certifiable experience from past employment
Pay: From $31.00 per hour
