Key Responsibilities
- Drive trucks and transport goods safely to various destinations.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle.
- Keep accurate logs of your driving activities and hours.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles
- Proven track record of safe driving with a clean driving record
- Experience with long-distance driving is a plus
Required Skills And Abilities
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements
- Ability to operate and maintain large vehicles safely
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
