Protrans Personnel Services is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Yard Night Shunter. This role is with a leading transportation company.
Class 1 Night Shunt
4 years class 1 is required
Sunday
– Yard Shunting
Monday – Yard Shunting (Approximately 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM)
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday — Shunting to Moncton & back, yard shunting until 6:00 AM.
25.62 per hour
-Yard Shunting
6:00pm to 6:00am

Job Qualifications:
4 years of class 1 experience
-Required
Clean driver’s abstract (no older than 30 days)
Security clearance search (completed in-house)
Pre-employment Road Test and Drug Test (completed in-house)
Ability to perform specific physical demands, including but not limited to pushing, pulling, lifting up to 70lbs.
Job Responsibilities:
Backing trailers in the yard, cracking dolly legs, etc.
Assisting the dock, using forklift when required.
push/pull/ lifting boxes of all sizes up to 70lbs.
