Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our equipment rental team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, unloading, and delivery of rental equipment to customer job sites and company locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, mechanically inclined, and experienced hauling construction and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport rental equipment to and from customer job sites and company branches.

Load, secure, and unload construction and heavy equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks, trailers, and equipment.

Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, driver logs, inspection reports, and fuel records.

Communicate with dispatch, yard personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and job site conditions.

Ensure all equipment is properly secured and transported without damage.

Demonstrate safe driving practices at all times.

Assist yard personnel with equipment movement and basic operational checks when needed.

Maintain a clean, professional appearance for the truck and trailer.

Follow All Company Policies, Safety Procedures, And DOT Requirements.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.

Current DOT medical card.

Minimum 2 Years Of Class A Driving Experience Preferred.

Experience hauling construction or heavy equipment preferred.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement requirements.

Ability to operate trailers, ramps, chains, binders, and tie-down equipment safely.

Forklift and equipment operating experience is a plus.

Strong communication and time management skills.

Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as business demands require.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift to 75 pounds.

Ability to climb on and off trucks and equipment repeatedly throughout the day.

Ability to work outdoors in varying Arizona weather conditions.

Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and secure loads for extended periods.
