SUMMARY:
Our Client in White River is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Code 10 Driver with sales and market experience to transport goods safely while promoting and selling company products. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, ensure timely deliveries, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Valid Code 10 driver's licence with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) Matric (Grade 12) preferred. Minimum 2-3 years' driving experience. 1-3 years' sales, merchandising, or FMCG market experience. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Ability to use mobile sales or delivery applications is an advantage. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle in accordance with road traffic regulations. Deliver products to customers accurately and on schedule. Load and unload goods while ensuring product safety. Promote company products and services to existing and prospective customers. Identify new sales opportunities and develop customer relationships. Achieve monthly sales and customer service targets. Collect payments where applicable and issue receipts. Maintain accurate delivery, sales, and stock records. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained. Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally. Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management. Assist with merchandising and product displays at customer locations when required.
