Support the health of your community as a Driver s role features the transportation of clients with a focus on care and compliance with transportation standards.
As part of the Transportation Department, your duties will include providing coverage on fixed routes and assisting clients during their travels to PACE Centers and specialty appointments. You’ll ensure all operations meet DOT regulations while prioritizing the well-being of our geriatric population. Utilize your driving skills to enhance patient care and community wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cover fixed transportation routes for clients
• Assist clients needing special transportation services
• Adhere strictly to DOT regulations during transit
• Maintain timely and efficient schedules for appointments
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle
Requirements:
• Valid Class B driver’s license from California required
• Minimum of two years driving experience necessary
• Experience working with elderly populations preferred
• Must hold current BLS certification after AHA guidelines
• Capability to acquire LA DOT city permit
