This is a casual contract opportunity for an Evening Delivery Driver role, working in your immediate local area. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for timely food delivery, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring all deliveries are handled efficiently and professionally. The role may involve engaging with customers, supporting restaurants with order pickups, and following all road and safety regulations while driving within the designated service area. We pay per delivery BUT we guarantee minimum $30 per hour.
Qualifications
- Customer Service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and maintain a friendly demeanor during interactions
- Basic understanding of food and beverage handling and delivery standards
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Familiarity with Melbourne’s roadways and GPS navigation tools
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to provide your own smartphone with a data plan for job-related use
- Excellent knowledge of road safety and ability to comply with traffic laws
