Overview
Purolator, Canada’s leading integrated freight, package, and logistics provider, invites applications for a Courier role based at Chapleau, Ontario.
Shift & Pay
Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm (40 hours/week).
Pay: $22.18 per hour (increases to $25.12 after 3 months).
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily schedules.
- Scan packages upon receipt, delivery, or return to the depot at day’s end.
- Resolve problems on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers.
- Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic‑Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E‑DVIR).
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of high school and any specific vocational courses.
- Driver: Valid Class 5 driver’s licence; 3 years of driving experience with a clean abstract.
- Skills: Domestic shipping, courier services, shipping & receiving operations.
