Role Description The Delivery Driver role is a full-time, on-site position located in Tampa, FL. In this role, the Delivery Driver will transport goods and household items to customer locations, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading trucks, securing cargo, following assigned routes, and completing delivery documentation. The Delivery Driver will interact with customers on-site, provide courteous service, and assist with basic installation or placement of items as needed. The role also involves conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, following all safety regulations, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients and handle inquiries or concerns respectfully.
- Ability to use or learn Forklift Operation and related material-handling equipment safely when required.
- Experience in Training or mentoring team members on safe loading, unloading, and delivery practices.
- Background in Sales or Food & Beverage is beneficial for understanding client needs and working in fast-paced environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and familiarity with local and regional routes.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items, with strong attention to safety and proper handling techniques.
- Reliable time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in delivery, moving, or transportation is an asset.
