Uprise is looking for a full-time Delivery Driver with opportunity for growth into transport logistics. The driver will safely transport cannabis products to customers and retail locations, following all state and local regulations, company policies, and security procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include loading and unloading orders, verifying delivery information, maintaining accurate delivery logs and documentation. The driver will provide professional, courteous customer service at each stop, represent the brand positively, and communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and management. The role also involves keeping the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any issues promptly, and supporting basic inventory and stocking tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on professionalism, communication, and a positive customer experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to meet all state and company requirements for cannabis delivery.
- Comfort working in a regulated cannabis environment, with strong attention to detail, safety, and confidentiality.
- Ability to lift and move packages safely, stand or drive for extended periods, and work flexible shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior delivery, logistics, or retail experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum 25 years of age
Valid Illinois Driver’s license and a clean driving record required
Must clear criminal background check
No traffic citations in the last 36 months, including no citation for speed over 80 mph
Ability to lift up to 125lbs regularly
Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
DOT physical, drug test and background checks
