Duties
• Operate a 26-ft automatic straight truck to deliver plant products to warehouses and garden centres
• Load trucks in the morning and unload at delivery locations using a hydraulic tailgate
• Move and secure racks of potted herbs, vegetables, and flowers during deliveries
• Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain safe driving practices
• Collect proof of delivery and communicate with customers at delivery locations
Requirements
• Valid DZ, or AZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Must be at least 25 years old with a minimum of 3 years holding a valid license
• DZ and AZ drivers require 3+ years of commercial driving experience and must provide confirmation from previous employers
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical loading/unloading
• Flexible schedule – may include overnight runs, late nights, early mornings, and long driving days
• Must have a personal vehicle to get to the work location
