Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Delivery Driver based in Port of Spain. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining an accurate log of deliveries and pickups. Additional tasks include loading and unloading items, inspecting delivery vehicles for maintenance issues, following assigned routes, and providing excellent customer service during interactions with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a comprehensive understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively, follow route schedules, and meet delivery deadlines
- Strong physical stamina and capability to load/unload goods as required
- Proven track record in customer service, maintaining professionalism during client interactions
- Experience in vehicle inspection and basic upkeep to ensure safety and functionality
- Ability to handle transport documentation and maintain accurate records
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
- Familiarity with Port of Spain routes is considered an asset
