Fresh Start Foods is hiring a
** Full-Time Delivery Driver
** to join our Ottawa team. As a
** 5 Tonne Truck Driver**, you will be responsible for the timely and safe
** delivery
* * of food products throughout
** Ottawa, Ontario
** and the surrounding areas. This is a permanent position in a fast-paced environment where safety and customer service are paramount.#
** Compensation and Benefits**
* ** Salary:** **$21.00 per hour**
* *
* Schedule:
** Full-Time, permanent, Monday-Saturday (5:30 am – 3:30 pm) with Sunday and a weekday off

** Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do
*** Execute scheduled
** deliveries
* * of fresh produce to Food service customers (restaurants, institutions, etc.).
* Safely operate and maintain a
** 5 Tonne Truck** (Straight Truck) on urban and regional routes.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring
** transportation
* * and
** logistics
* * compliance.
* Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols, including load security and handling procedures.
* Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and collect necessary documentation.
* Accurately track deliveries and maintain electronic or paper
** logs
* * as required.#
** Required Qualifications/Skills
*** Proven experience as a
** Delivery Driver
** or in a similar
** transportation
* * role is highly preferred.
* Valid
** Ontario Driver’s License** (G or equivalent).
* Clean commercial vehicle operator’s registration (
** CVOR**) and
** Driver’s Abstract** (Must be provided).
* Physical capability to lift and move up to
** 50 lbs
** frequently during the loading and delivery process.
* Flexibility to work the required schedule (Mon-Fri, 5:30 am – 3:30 pm), with availability for occasional Saturdays.
