Delivery Expert
– Job Requirements and Duties
You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, as well as access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. You should possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Drivers also help with inside tasks periodically such as food preparation and cleaning. See General Job Duties for All Team Members for additional duties.
Must be licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years and be able to prove a licensed driving history. You must be an insured driver on the vehicle’s insurance policy. Vehicle must be registered.

$20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage
General
Job Duties For All Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Training
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills/Abilities
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately perform movements.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area; must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees to 90 degrees and above in some areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and outside.
- Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 degrees or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
- Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks; depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
The following are included and describe typical activities; tasks may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, hand tasks, machines/tools, and other work aids as applicable.
- Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position. - Walking:
Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum in some areas. Work surfaces 36″–48″ high. - Sitting:
Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table. - Lifting/Carrying:
Deliveries and storage tasks may involve up to 50 lbs; lifting from floor to shelves up to 72″ high; pizza sauce up to 30 lbs; trays of dough (about 12 lbs per tray). - Pushing/Pulling:
Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 pounds. - Climbing:
Navigate stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, or perform maintenance. - Stooping/Bending, Crouching/Squatting, Reaching:
Various tasks at assembly and food prep areas; reaching above 72″ as needed. - Hand Tasks:
