Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Delivery Associate to support daily shipping and delivery operations. This role is responsible for picking, packing, verifying customer orders, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and verify customer orders for shipment.
- Deliver packages to customers and designated receiving locations.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
- Transport packages to airport shipping facilities when required.
- Organize delivery paperwork, collect customer signatures, and maintain delivery records.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer delivery requests and special handling needs.
- Deliver marketing materials and customer information as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness checks on the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and contamination control guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Track and reconcile delivery-related expenses and transactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous courier or delivery experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, customer service, and time management skills.
