Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hampstead, NH, for a Delivery Flatbed Truck Driver. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of stainless steel products to customers using company-provided vehicles. Additional responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, verifying and organizing deliveries, maintaining logs of routes and deliveries, and ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness. Interactions with customers during deliveries will require professionalism and excellent customer service. Knowledge of New England routes is beneficial with Boston-area driving occurring weekly.
Qualifications
- Customer Service skills to engage professionally with clients during deliveries. Must be able to complete all deliveries each day efficiently.
- Experience with Forklift Operation for loading and unloading materials
- Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures in handling materials and loading flatbeds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and Medical DOT card required. No CDL required.
- Ability to work independently and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with shipping documents and basic metals knowledge is a bonus.
- Starting salary will depend upon experience driving a flatbed truck vs other trucks; the knowledge of New England routes with Boston-area experience; any delivery knowledge of metals and how to load, secure and deliver safely.
