Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tyler, TX, for a DME Driver. Responsibilities include delivering, setting up, and maintaining durable medical equipment (DME) for patients across 28 counties. The driver will ensure the timely delivery of equipment, educate patients or caregivers on the proper use of the equipment, maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, and perform routine vehicle checks and equipment maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff
- Ability to operate and maintain delivery vehicles
- Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and equipment inspections
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor equipment maintenance is a plus
- Knowledge of healthcare or hospice equipment delivery is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- clean Criminal Background check is required
- Physical ability to lift and transport equipment as required
