Role Description The Driver role at Green GSM Philippines is a full-time, on-site position based in Metro Manila. The Driver is responsible for operating company trucks safely, transporting goods to designated locations, and complying with traffic laws and company safety standards. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, securing and unloading cargo, maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle, and keeping accurate delivery records and logs. The Driver will coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams, follow assigned routes and schedules, and communicate any delays, incidents, or maintenance needs. This role may involve interacting with customers or client representatives, ensuring courteous and professional service during pickups and deliveries.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills, with experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Valid CDL Class A or equivalent professional driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for coordinating with dispatch and interacting with clients.
- Knowledge of basic truck care and safety practices, including inspections and reporting maintenance issues.
- Familiarity with Metro Manila routes and traffic regulations is highly beneficial.
- Ability to lift and move cargo as needed, and to work extended hours or shifts when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
