Job Summary
Responsible for transporting staff, clients, or goods in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, while maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition and ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive assigned vehicles to transport staff, clients, or materials as required
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely arrival and avoid delays
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, fuel level, oil, brakes, tyres, and general condition
- Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and properly maintained
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company driving policies
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance
- Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents promptly
- Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers and goods at all times
Requirements And Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or structured environment
- Good knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
