As a Driver Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by building strong relationships with drivers, coordinating freight movement, and ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time service.
What You'll Do
- Manage the daily activities of a designated fleet of drivers
- Dispatch drivers and monitor freight movement to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
- Maintain communication with drivers, customers, and internal departments
- Monitor driver safety, Hours of Service, compliance, payroll, and equipment maintenance
- Document accidents and communicate information to the appropriate departments
- Record service issues and operational updates in AS400
- Respond to and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Perform driver check calls and provide ongoing support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Complete additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively with drivers, customers, and coworkers
- Ability to pass a company drug screen
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
