Securiguard is looking for a Driving Competency Assessor to fill the Full-Time AVOP Examiner role at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Focus on maintaining airside safety through thorough evaluations of vehicle operators.
As an AVOP Examiner, you’ll play an essential role in the evaluation processes for airside vehicle operators, ensuring they meet safety standards and air traffic directives. Your responsibilities include administering tests, monitoring driving performance, and ensuring that all examinations are conducted fairly and consistently to uphold the highest safety measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer written and practical AVOP examinations
• Evaluate applicants through careful observation
• Ensure all evaluations align with Airside Traffic Directives
• Provide feedback and guidance to applicants
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of tests
Requirements:
• Current Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
• Clean Driver’s Abstract for the last 5 years
• Valid Restricted Area Identification Card required
• Prior experience in an airside environment
• Strong knowledge of air traffic directives and safety protocols
Assist in maintaining a safe airside environment at Vancouver International Airport through diligent evaluations and assessments.
