Job Summary:
Class A CDL Drivers are responsible for on-time delivery of drop & hook freight to local stations and regional hubs. Assigned PM single run. Shift Class A CDL Drivers must be responsible, have excellent time management skills, be self-motivated, reliable, energetic, and willing to exceed customer service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Class A CDL Truck Drivers are responsible for on-time delivery of freight between stations in the Houston Metro Area and Texas
- Class A CDL Truck Drivers are responsible for hauling and unloading multi-stop freight and also returning freight (as required) to home station in North Houston.
- Class A CDL Truck Drivers are responsible for safely operating the vehicle and transporting all freight, which includes intrastate deliveries
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized truck
Experience:
- Must be over 22 years old
- Current Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Pass a criminal background check
- No felonies
- Pass a drug screen
- Have a clean driving record (1 point/ticket, no DUI’s, and no suspensions)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120.00 – $400.00 per day
