Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to move goods around the facility.
- Load and unload inbound/outbound freight from trucks and shipping containers.
- Prepare and secure orders for delivery by wrapping, packing, and labeling shipments correctly.
- Perform daily equipment checks (brakes, hydraulics, steering) and report mechanical faults to supervisors.
- Track and document material movements, often using Radio Frequency scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Maintain a hazard‑free work environment, follow traffic regulations in the warehouse, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
