Job Overview

HGV Class 1 and 2 Drivers are required in Harlow for a full‑time position paying £22 per hour. The role involves multi‑drop deliveries across a fixed 3‑week rolling rota with shifts starting between 04:00 and 05:00 and lasting 9 to 13 hours. There is no Sunday working and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours pay per shift. Immediate starts are available through Rapier Employment.

  • Week 1:
    Monday – Thursday
  • Week 2:
    Wednesday – Saturday
  • Week 3:
    Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• Optional additional days available.
• Start times: 04:00–05:00
• Shift length: 9–13 hours

Role and Responsibilities

• Multi‑drop deliveries (typically 6–8 drops per shift) of chilled, frozen and ambient goods.
• Use cages and tail lifts with electric pallet truck training provided.
• Deliver to convenience stores on planned routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (Category C/C+E).
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Good communication and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work the rota.
