About the Role
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing Tarmac and construction site deliveries based out of Stanford-le-Hope (SS17).
This is a Monday to Friday position with regular 06:00 starts, offering consistent work with a well-known and established logistics operator. Drivers will be delivering materials to construction, infrastructure, and industrial sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Carry out Class 1 deliveries and collections to Tarmac, construction, and infrastructure sites.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Comply with Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time regulations.
- Follow all site-specific health and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum of 6 months experience on Class 1 driving experience.
- No more than 6 points.
- Good understanding of UK road transport regulations.
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude.
