Role Description
Freight Horse seeks a dependable and skilled Box Truck Driver for a full-time role, based in Sayreville, NJ. The primary responsibilities include operating box trucks to transport goods safely, loading and unloading shipments, adhering to delivery schedules, and following all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The driver will also conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of the truck to support the smooth delivery process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining box trucks
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to compliance
- Ability to perform unloading and handle cargo safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
- Reliable work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of NY/NJ backroads to avoid traffic patterns without relying on navigation is a must.
- Must be legal in the country.
- 100% Clean driving record.
- Availability to drive late hours is a plus.
