Drive professionally as a Long Haul Truck Driver with competitive pay of $38.40 hourly in Burnaby, BC. You’ll be responsible for transporting goods, ensuring vehicle safety, and delivering excellent customer service.
We are looking for a dedicated, full-time Long Haul Truck Driver to operate straight or articulated trucks across North America. As part of a two-person team, you will load and unload goods, perform necessary inspections, and maintain vehicle conditions during your journey.
Your role is vital in ensuring safe and timely deliveries, requiring excellent organizational skills and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate trucks to transport goods efficiently
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Load and unload cargo safely
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform preventive maintenance
• Communicate effectively with central dispatch
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or A driver’s license
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Experience in international transport
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
