This position reports to the Senior Director, Transportation, and involves daily management of merchant pick-ups, GoBolt freight movements, and last-mile routing. We’re looking for an energetic leader with a proven track record in transportation and excellent relationship-building abilities to drive our operations forward.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage merchant pick-ups and drop-offs effectively
• Source new mid-mile partnerships and optimize existing routes
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure timely deliveries
• Report on carrier performance and initiate improvements
• Support and mentor the routing team for enhanced productivity
Requirements:
• 3+ years in Transportation, ideally 5+ years
• Familiarity with loading techniques and space utilization
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Strong attention to detail with effective communication
• Willing to meet demands during peak seasons
