We have an opportunity in our Wenatchee, WA location for a safety and customer focused Non‑CDL Driver.
Responsibilities
- Loading and properly securing equipment and/or attachments to and from customer sites and our rental yards.
- Receiving training or instructional direction on the safe use of the equipment. The job is physically demanding and requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
- Communicating and cooperating with customers, responding to their questions, and safely operating a delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT guidelines, rules, and regulations.
- Completing daily vehicle inspections to identify the need for repairs and/or maintenance, and ensuring that repairs are accomplished with a minimum of disruption to the operation.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicle.
- Working closely with the Rental Coordinators and/or Branch Manager.
- Driving vehicles weighing 10,000–26,000 lbs. without a CDL.
- Completing other assigned duties in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- At least three years of driving experience; experience in equipment delivery or the rental industry preferred.
- Dependable, responsible, and committed to safe vehicle operation and timely pickup and delivery of equipment/attachments.
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, alcohol‑related violations, or other moving violations in the past three years.
