Role Description
This is a full-time or part time on-site role for a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver based in Hamilton, OH. The Driver will be responsible for transporting clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and treatments in a timely and professional manner. Duties include assisting passengers with mobility needs, ensuring proper use of safety equipment, maintaining trip records, and inspecting vehicles for safety and cleanliness. Building positive relationships with clients through kindness and reliable service is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in providing transportation services, including safe driving skills and knowledge of local roadways
- Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and professionalism when interacting with clients
- Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs, including safely managing wheelchair users
- Basic administrative skills, including maintaining accurate trip and vehicle maintenance records
- Demonstrated commitment to following safety and transportation regulations
- Prior experience in healthcare or a customer service role is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
