Harbinger Freight Services is seeking a dependable, safety-focused professional to join our specialized transportation team.
This position’s primary responsibility is escorting oversized and overweight loads by operating a pilot vehicle. When escort duties are not required, this individual will operate company stake bed trucks and sprinter vans to support equipment movement, deliveries, and other transportation needs.

Primary Responsibilities
* Escort oversized and overweight loads throughout Texas and surrounding states.
* Operate company pilot vehicles safely and professionally.
* Drive company stake bed trucks and sprinter vans as operational needs require.
* Properly secure equipment and freight using chains, straps, binders, and other cargo securement devices.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
* Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, customers, and law enforcement when necessary.
* Maintain a professional appearance and represent Harbinger Freight Services with integrity at customer facilities and on public roadways.
* Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
* Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight travel as needed.
* Ability to lift, secure, and handle chains, straps, binders, and other load securement equipment.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Current TWIC Card (preferred; Harbinger will assist the right candidate in obtaining one if needed).
Preferred Qualifications
* Pilot/Escort Vehicle Certification (preferred but not required).
* Experience operating stake bed trucks, sprinter vans, or other light commercial vehicles.
* Experience in transportation, logistics, construction, or heavy haul operations.
