Ready Mix Drivers are responsible for the primary day-to-day delivery of Ready Mix Concrete to job sites (home owner and commercial). This role has a focus on customer relationships, providing great service with a positive attitude to ensure customers receive high-level delivery and product from Amrize. This is a customer‑facing role that requires a service‑oriented mindset and a professional approach.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Maintain equipment by doing daily pre and post trip inspections, keep equipment clean inside and out.
  • Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers in assigned geography.
  • Responsible for consistent and reliable customer service through delivery.
  • Coordinate around Fort McMurray and surrounding areas to maintain on‑time deliveries.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with logistics and operations teams and fellow operators.
  • Have a flexible schedule, including availability on most weekends.
  • Understand traffic rules and regulations in a commercial vehicle.
  • Participate in the Amrize Ready Mix Training Program.
  • Commit to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Required

Work Experience:

At least 5 years of experience driving trucks;
Ready Mix Driver experience preferred but not required.

Required Training/

Certifications:

Must have a Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1 driver’s license. Driver’s abstract is required with application submission.

Additional Requirements

  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • No site ban in effect.
  • Relationship‑building with external customers and internal Amrize personnel.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
  • Able to lift >50lbs.
  • Must be able to work on industrial oil sands sites in RMWB.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE.
