Job Description
OLM Food Solutions is taking applications for full‑time CDL‑A drivers. In addition to our regular benefit package, our CDL‑A drivers receive:
- $2,500 yearly safety bonus

Position
Purpose
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers!
The Driver, Hourly CDL‑A is responsible for driving a tractor‑trailer or straight truck on inter‑state and intrastate local, over‑the‑road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food‑related products to customers in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (Use the “Apply for this Job” box below). The driver communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co‑workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
Function as a team member within the department and organization as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform all required safety checks (e.g., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations; inspect and ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed. Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Immediately report all safety hazards. Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Perform count checks of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded. Check and complete in an accurate and legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight.
- Move tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule. Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas.
- Perform damage control checks on items, scan, and contact supervisor about removal of orders according to company policy. Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures. Collect money (cash or checks) where required.
- Load customer returns onto trailer and secure trailer doors. Ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
