Position: Super Driver (Fulfillment Assistant)
Company: Digital Superstore
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Role Purpose
Support day‑to‑day warehouse and delivery operations to ensure accurate picking / packing, safe and timely deliveries, and clean, well‑organised storage areas. The role helps maintain stock accuracy and reliable customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving and Deliveries: Safely operate company vehicle for customer and store deliveries; follow assigned routes; ensure on‑time delivery and proper proof‑of‑delivery.
- Picking and Packing: Pick orders accurately as per pick lists; check quantities/conditions; pack securely to prevent damage; label cartons correctly.
- Receiving and Put‑away: Assist with unloading, checking goods against delivery notes/invoices, and storing items in the correct locations.
- Stock Control: Support regular stock counts / stock takes; report variances, damages, or missing items promptly.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Keep warehouse, loading bay, and vehicle clean; follow HSE practices; use PPE and equipment correctly (trolleys, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Documentation and Systems: Complete basic paperwork and update simple system entries as required (delivery logs, pick tickets, returns).
- Customer Service: Interact politely with customers and store teams; escalate issues to the supervisor when needed.
Key Requirements
- Valid Group 2 driver’s licence (or above) with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or delivery is an advantage.
- Physically fit; able to lift/move cartons safely and work on feet for extended periods.
- Basic reading, counting, and recording skills; able to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑conscious; willingness to work flexible hours when required.
Qualifications
- Year 12 (Form 6) preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse tools / equipment (pallet jack, hand truck) is an advantage.
