Overview

Intelcom | Dragonfly is Canada’s leader in last‑mile logistics, operating over 100 sorting stations across three continents. The role centers on ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient transportation operations.

Responsibilities Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard‑free work environment.
  • Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.
  • Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.
  • Supervise warehouse traffic, van audits, and ensure safe vehicle movements.
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Respond to emergencies as required.

Cleaning & General Housekeeping

  • Maintain overall cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse.

Operations & Logistics

  • Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management.
  • Manage and optimize return pickups and return‑to‑client processes.
  • Create and confirm driver bookings with relevant business partners.
  • Generate next‑day route plans and send optimization emails to the Optimization team.
  • Conduct IDC/driver check‑in/out, loading/unloading trailers, and verify freight against manifests.
  • Assist with sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate delivery, incident, and inventory logs and submit comprehensive daily reports.
  • Complete daily reports (e.g., AMZ Daily Case report, Shift Handover) and submit to clients, Station team, and Manager.
  • Audit Proof of Delivery (POD) reports and report back on compliance to IDC liaison.
  • Complete daily timesheets and submit to the Station Manager.
  • Perform data entry as needed.

Team Leadership & Customer Service

  • Assign daily tasks to staff, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
  • Prepare and monitor performance reports (on‑time deliveries, exceptions, etc.).
  • Provide coaching, support, and training to drivers and warehouse staff, including onboarding new hires.
  • Address delivery complaints, damages, or lost packages promptly.
  • Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate employee performance, workplace conduct, and compliance; take disciplinary actions where appropriate.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
