As part of the Roads Department, you will operate snowplow trucks and carry out necessary preparations, including reports and equipment checks. Ideal candidates will have practical driving experience and a commitment to maintaining high safety and operational standards. Prior construction work is beneficial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete reports and perform circle checks
• Operate snowplows for effective winter road care
• Carry out minor maintenance on truck equipment
• Transport materials and execute road maintenance tasks
• Work under the direction of the Roads Supervisor
Requirements:
• Minimum High School (Grade 10) education
• One year operating single trucks over 18,000 GVW
• Class “D” Ontario license with “Z” endorsement
• Clean driving record and tandem truck proficiency
• Construction experience in maintenance tasks is preferred
