Duties
- Collection and delivery of vehicles using a truck and trailer, ensuring all vehicles are secured and transported safely and in compliance with regulations
- Completion of all relevant paperwork accurately and promptly
- Conduct vehicle inspections for damage and tyre safety, preparing damage reports as necessary
- Maintain systems and procedures in line with company standards and document all activities appropriately
- Receive and provide receipts for collections when applicable
- Collect and deliver small items or equipment as needed
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar Transport Driver role
- Valid UK driving licence with the ability and previous experience of trailered deliveries
- Full, clean UK drivers licence with B+E entitlement to tow up to 3.5T
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets
- Flexible approach with working hours, including Saturdays when required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of vehicle safety checks and paperwork procedures
