We’re hiring!
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety focused Class 1 Truck Driver for local deliveries within Edmonton and surrounding areas. This position is Alberta only – no out of province or long-haul travel.
Job description:
Class 1 Truck Driver required for the City of Edmonton and Surrounding Area
Duties:
• Safely operate company trucks in compliance with federal, provincial, and local
regulations, as well as company policies and safety procedures.
• Transport materials/trailers to designated destinations as dispatched
• Properly secure and handle loads to prevent damage or loss.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers; reporting mechanical
issues, safety concerns, or compliance violations.
• Maintain accurate logbooks, mileage, fuel consumption, trip reports, and delivery
documentation
• Use company provided smartphone apps, GPS, text, and email to plan delivery routes and to communicate efficiently
• Safely maneuver trucks and trailers for loading and unloading
• Report vehicle defects, damage, or maintenance needs promptly to the Logistics Coordinator
• Perform basic maintenance/repairs within abilities (i.e.- fueling truck, washing truck, topping up fluid, torquing tires, minor replacements/upkeep etc.)
• Maintain a clean, orderly yard and trailer storage areas

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift
Experience: Heavy & Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers – 1 year (Required)
Valid Alberta Class 1 Drivers Licence
Minimum 1-year Clar 1 driving experience
Clean/acceptable drivers abstract
Knowledge and compliance with Alberta and federal Hours of Service regulations
Strong safety awareness and attention to details
Work Location: On the road
