We have been servicing the construction industry for 88 years and are looking to expand our reach. We are searching for qualified individuals to join our team of ready-mix concrete drivers. Locations include Romeo, Chesterfield, Richmond, Marysville, Marine City, and Croswell. Come join the Team!
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced or novice concrete mixer driver at all our locations to better serve our customers in a safe, timely, and respectful manner. We are willing to train qualified individuals with a valid CDL license and airbrake endorsement.
Responsibilities:
· Transport concrete materials over land to and from manufacturing plants to job sites
· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform some preventative maintenance
· Follow routes and meet delivery schedules
· Document load times & unload times
· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
· Collect and verify delivery instructions
· Report defects, accidents or violations
· Maintain proper concrete loads
Skills:
· Proven work experience as a concrete mixer driver (Preferred)
· Ability to drive long hours
· Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
· No recent moving or driving violations
· Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
· Valid truck driving license
· Detailed and thorough communication

Salary: Up to $34.50 per hour
