Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Truck Driver role based in St. Louis, MO, with the opportunity for some remote work. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting dairy products safely and efficiently to designated locations. Daily tasks include operating trucks in compliance with DOT regulations, securing and unloading deliveries, performing vehicle inspections, and coordinating with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries. Adherence to safety standards and maintaining a positive customer service experience are key expectations for this role.
Qualifications
- Valid Class E license and proven experience in truck driving
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and adherence to road safety standards
- Experience with unloading and handling products
- Familiarity with truck maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Ability to meet delivery schedules and work effectively with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a customer-centric approach
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in the dairy or food distribution sector is a plus
