Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Croydon. The Truck Driver will operate concrete mixer trucks to deliver concrete safely and efficiently to customer sites across Greater London. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, driving to and from job locations, loading and unloading concrete, and ensuring accurate delivery according to customer requirements. The role also involves following all company procedures, adhering to DOT and road safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle, and communicating clearly with dispatch, site personnel, and team members. The Truck Driver is expected to support a safe working environment and represent EasyMix professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CLASS 2 / HGV2 proven Truck Driving experience, preferably with mixer or heavy goods vehicles
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and safe road practices in urban environments
- Ability to manage loading and Unloading of concrete and related materials safely and efficiently
- Strong awareness of vehicle safety, basic mechanical understanding of Truck operations, and ability to perform routine checks
- Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including occasional early starts or weekends as needed
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, bending, and lifting within reasonable limits
- Previous experience in construction, concrete delivery, or a related industry is beneficial
